Maria Mitu has over 30 years of experience running adult foster care homes and providing the best level of care for elderly residents. Her personal mission is to insure the happiness and health of her residents. She is a Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, and holds two First Aid and CPR certifications.

Certifications for her staff include: Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, and CPR-First Aid for the Professional Rescuer.

Her 8,000 sq. foot countryside home sits on 11 acres of gorgeous land. Maria and her staff provide 24 hour care, 7 days a week. Every room is private, spacious, and equipped with individual bathrooms. All rooms also have spectacular scenic views, where residents regularly enjoy the nature. Meals are home-cooked, natural, and healthy. Summers regularly feature BBQ dinners in the gazebo.

The National Health Policy Forum selected Maria's foster care home as one of the top adult service providers in Multnomah County.
